Core Beliefs/Statements of Faith
We believe all Scripture, both Old and New Testament, were given by inspiration of God as the writers were moved by the Holy Spirit to write the very words of God, and that these Scriptures are the only rule of faith and practice.
(2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter1:20-21)
We believe in the one true God who has revealed Himself as existing in three persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit; distinguishable but indivisible.
(Matthew 28:19, II Corinthians 13:14)
We believe that God created the human race in His image, until sin entered by disobedience and rebellion and left humanity totally incapable of saving itself. (Romans 5:12, Genesis 1:27, Genesis 2:17)
We believe that God ordained marriage and defined it as the covenant relationship between one genetic man and one genetic woman. It is through this relationship that God provided the framework for intimate companionship, the channel of sexual expression according to biblical standards, and for the procreation of the human race.
(Genesis 2:22-24; Matthew 19:5-6; Mark 10:6-9.)

We believe in the person and work of Jesus Christ, He was and is God; He was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary; He lived a sinless life. He performed miracles as recorded in the Gospels. He died for our sins and His death was for all mankind. He was buried and rose again on the third day; He ascended to the right hand of the Father and we look to His return for the church. (Luke 1:26-35,John 1:14,18, Isaiah 7:14, 9:6, I Thessalonians 4:13-18, I Corinthians 15:1-8)
We believe in the salvation of sinners by grace through repentance and faith in the perfect and sufficient work of Christ upon the cross by which we obtain the remission of sins through His shed blood.
(Ephesians 2:8-9, Hebrews 9:12-14, Romans 5:11)
We believe that water baptism is the obedient response to the command of the Lord. Baptism in water is by immersion, and is for believers only.
(Matthew 28:19-20, Acts 2:38, Colossians 2:12)
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, the promise of the Father for the empowering of the Christian and its accompanying gifts and fruits.
(Acts 2:1-4, Acts 8:14-17 10:44-46, Galatians 3:14)
We believe the process of sanctification is a definite and progressive work of grace to be set apart by God.
(1Corinthians 1:30, 2 Timothy 2:19-22, Colossians 3:5-10, Romans 12:1-2, Titus 2:11-14)
We believe in Divine Healing and it is provided for through the reconciliation of Christ.
(Isaiah 53:4-5, Matthew 8:14-17, 1Peter 2:24)
We believe in the reality of hell and eternal retribution. One who dies in his or her sins without accepting Jesus Christ is eternally lost.
(Matthew 13:41-42, Luke 12:5, John 5:28-29, Luke 16:19-31)
We believe that the giving of tithes and offerings is God’s financial plan to support the work of the Kingdom and the local church. It is the key to walking in prosperity and not living under the curse of poverty. (Malachi 3:8-12, 2 Corinthians 9:6-8, Proverbs 11:24-25)
